Editorial Standards

How we source, verify, and correct everything published on TrulyRemoteWork.com.

Last reviewed: 2026-06-11

Job listings

Every listing is scraped directly from the employer's applicant tracking system (Greenhouse, Lever, Workable, Ashby, Recruitee, Personio, and others) or their public career page. We do not accept paid placements, sponsored slots, or recruiter feeds. The full sourcing pipeline is documented at how we verify.

Each listing is then probed automatically: a separate verification process re-fetches the apply URL and confirms the role is still open. Closed roles are removed within hours and the URL returns HTTP 410 Gone so search engines deindex it quickly.

Inclusion criteria

A role only appears on TrulyRemoteWork.com if it passes four explicit checks:

  • No country allowlist — the employer does not restrict applications to specific countries.
  • No timezone mandate — no required overlap hours with a specific office or headquarters.
  • No relocation required — the role does not require moving to a physical location.
  • No residency requirement — legal authorization to work in a specific country is not needed.

When source language is ambiguous, we err on the side of exclusion. A role labeled "remote" but requiring "EU work permit" or "US residency" does not appear here.

Editorial articles and guides

Articles published under /blog are written by the TRW Editorial Team. Every article includes a visible author byline linking to the author's profile at /authors/trw-editorial-team, a publication date, and — when updated — a last-modified date.

Claims of fact (salary ranges, hiring trends, market data) are sourced from cited primary references when possible. We do not use AI-generated content as a primary source; AI may assist with research and outlining but every published article is reviewed by a human editor.

Conflicts of interest

We are not paid by the employers whose jobs appear on this board. Listings are not promoted, sponsored, or re-ordered based on payment. When we recommend a third-party tool or service in editorial content, any affiliate relationship is disclosed inline at first mention.

Corrections

If you find an error — a misclassified role, an out-of-date listing, an incorrect fact in an article — email editorial@trulyremotework.com. We review every correction request and fix substantive errors within 48 hours of confirmation.

When an article is materially corrected, we update the dateModified field in the article's structured data and add a brief correction note at the bottom of the post. Minor typo fixes do not trigger a public correction note.

Source transparency

Apply links go directly to the employer's official application page — typically their ATS. We do not insert tracking redirects or affiliate parameters. We log apply-click events anonymously for analytics but never modify the destination URL.

The full job description on our page is sanitized and reformatted for readability but otherwise mirrors what the employer published. We never inject content into a job description.
